Who is Michelle Obama?
Many of you might be big fans of Barack Obama. But how much do you know about his wife, who very possibly could end up being our First Lady? Who is Michelle Obama? As Hillary Clinton keeps relying on Bill to deliver her votes, its somewhat unfair as the American public knows all too well what Bill is all about. But for the most part, besides seeing her support our favorite candidate on television, and sometimes speaking a little, we really don't know who Michelle Obama is.
Michelle Obama was born January 17th, 1964 in the great city of Chicago, Illinois. She is a graduate of Princeton and Harvard, and is a lawyer, community activist, and loving mother of two. Michelle Obama is not the great orator that her husband is, however as you can see in the videos I have included below, she is a very smart, strong, intelligent woman and she would make a great complement to Barack Obama in the White House. I see a great many people online saying she will be the classiest First Lady to be in the White House since Jackie Onassis.
Michelle Obama stresses than family and family values is very important to her. She makes a great point about family in a video below (vid#3) and what she says really should be a standard for all of us, not just people vying for a spot in the White House. It runs along the same piece of advice my Grandma used to always pass on to me as an extremely important precept: "Charity starts at home". If more were to follow that concept I think we'd see a drastic improvement in our education and crime. And things like Columbine would not happen because the parents would realize there is an armory of guns and bombs in their very own garage (ironically I hear in my background of a wounded student in North Carolina due to a drive by shooting at a school). I believe the decline of the family has also led to the decline of America.
Michelle Obama has worked at a Chicago law firm Sidney Austin (where she met Barack), she left the law office in 1991 to pursue public service. Michelle served as an assistant to the Mayor of Chicago before 1993 when she became the Executive Director of the Chicago branch of Public Allies, a non-profit youth organization promoting youths working for social issues. Michelle Obama worked for the University of Chicago since 1996 as the Associate Dean of Student Services and in May 2006 she was named by Essence magazine as one of the "25 Most Inspiring Women in the World."
After doing thorough research about Michelle Obama, I know she would make a great First Lady to complement her husband in the White House. Many of her virtues are virtues Hillary has never had and never will. I for one look forward to hearing more speeches from Michelle and look very forward to seeing Barack's whole family residing in the White House very soon.

This is a well done hub and a great topic. It's nice to see positive information about someone in political life. :-)
Is part of her family values calling White people "whitey" ??? Is that what she is wanting to teach her children? Wait for the story to break in the next few days.
So what charities does she work for that are race neutral?
I find Michelle to have the LEAST class of any FL in recent history and is certainly no Jackie Kennedy.
Michelle Obama is an angry racist
It won't be long before all of you liberals realize you made a big mistake
I feel the blog on Michelle Obama was very inspirational and upbeat. I also feel this is a new day and a new time. President Elect Obama is a President for all people. We should put our bias remarks and racial under tones on the back burner and come together as a country.
